Holiday mood.......

A lot of people in my office has gone on leave during the last 2 weeks of the year but I'm not one of them as I don't have any plans. So I've decided to carry forward my entitlement to next year which means I'll have a total of 23.5 days then, YAY! :)

Actually I don't mind to come to work during these 2 weeks, simply because:
1. The traffic to & fro office is so smooth.
2. The eateries are not so packed during lunch hour.
3. Office is so peaceful & quite since half of the people are gone.
4. Last but not least, bosses are not around, hehehe. :)

Caregiving to elderly people

Nowadays, a lot of women are working instead of being a housewife and so if there are elderly people in the family, more often they will be the ones staying at home. If the elderly ones are physically and mentally fit, it is fine as they can still take care of themselves. But if that is not the case, most likely we’ll need a caregiver to look after them while we are away.

Depending on individual situation, choosing the right caregiver to provide appropriate care to the elderly people is very important. We have to survey and read on the caregiving information and then decide what the best arrangement we could possibly do for our loved ones. The caregivers resources are also available which will help us to get the caregiving services we need so much easier.

To better understand the health condition of the elderly, we can also study the caregiving information which enables us to know the symptoms and stages of the sickness and learn on how to provide proper care to them. Family support and care is equally important to the elderly in helping them to live on happily.

Planning for holiday trip

This is a sponsored post.

Many in my office are not working during the last week of the year as they are clearing annual leaves to go for holiday. As for myself, I’m also planning for a family trip to a local destination during the Chinese New year period in February 08.

Instead of going to travel agencies, I prefer to plan my trip and do the Hotel Reservations via Internet because I find it easier and faster. I can compare the room rates offered by different travel website and choose the one with most competitive rates and great discounts. After the reservation is made, payment will also be done online and that’s it. Planning a holiday trip can be so simple and hassle free.

Annual Dinner

It was my company's 10th year anniversary dinner on last Friday, 14th Dec 07. The theme of this year is "Glamorous" and everyone is supposed to dressed to kill for the night. In view of that, boss actually allows us to leave the office as early as 3.30pm on Friday so that we'll have ample time to dress up.

I went to Jantzen for hairdo and then Bobbi Brown for make over, and reached the venue, Saffron @ One Bangsar around 7.30pm with my other colleagues.

Me in purple long dress, posing at the red carpet entrance.

Me with my other gorgeous colleagues.

I got a Robomop from the lucky draw, which I think could be more useful to my maid and not me, since I'm not the one doing house work, haha LOL.

See more photos of the annual dinner here

Choosing the web host

This is a sponsored post.

Blogging has become very popular nowadays and I noticed that many who started their blog on free web host has slowly migrated to their own domain, maybe because it’s more personalize and easier to manage in that way. But anyhow, I am also hoping that I could have my own domain one day.

There are so many web host offering different plans and packages out there and it’s not easy to decide which one to go with especially people who have fair knowledge about web hosting like me. In this case http://www.webhostingchoice.com has provided a great source of information on web hosting. Not only that we can learn from A to Z about web hosting by referring to the quick start guide and FAQ section, we can also find the web hosts that provides the features that we need by searching through the web hosting plans directory. Advanced search will also be able to help us to find the specific web host that meets our every single requirement.

Hubby & I brought Kaith to the Pavilion shopping mall on the 9th Dec, wanted her to see the christmas decor and take some nice shots of her in her "christmas outfit". :)

I noticed that Kaith just can't get her fingers off her mouth...too yummy?? :P
