As I've mentioned in my previous post about DIY confinement plan & that I've placed order with Peiling, now there is a slight change in the plan, yeah it's very last minute change.
Frankly speaking, I've heard some not so good comment about the confinement food catering at Peiling lately & thus I've decided to switch to another caterer, SN-Nanny in Sri Petaling.
Since I've paid RM200 non-refundable deposit to Peiling, I've used the budget to exchange for some necessary goods like sesame oil, sesame cereal drink, ginger wines, for myself & my friends who want the goods as well.
I've placed the order with SN Nanny for their Flexi package, which includes 1 meat, 1 vege, 1 soup, 1 brown rice & 1 red dates drink at RM1200 for 30 days. On top of that I need to pay her additional RM300 for delivery as I wasn't taking the full package (2 meats, 2 vege, 2 brown rice, 1 soup & red dates drink, incl delivery for 30 days at RM2200). I didn't want to take the full package, as I still want some flexibility in my menu, where I (or my maid) can still prepare some extra dishes that I feel like eating at times.
SN Nanny also provide the double boiled chicken essence at RM15 per serving & I am planning to take on that too later (3rd week of confinement onwards), because I think the price is quite reasonable & it'll save me time to prepare & I could have more time to rest & bonding with my baby & Dillon.
Anyway, everything is ironed out finally......

i didn't know confinement meal is thaaaat expensive. nevermind, as long as mother and baby is well taken care of. anyway, here's to wish you a "pleasant delivery'. take care.

Hi shern's mom, I kept a record of raw food expenses during my last confinement which came up to about RM2000, excl the $$ I have to pay CL, so it's not too expensive anyway. Like you said, most important is it lessen my hassle loh. :)
Ya chinnee & jazz, can even opt to stay in SN's confinement home, full baby & mummy care, 3 main meals plus tea & supper per day, so pampered leh. :)

Sorry to interrupt ladies...but i wish to share my wife's bad experience with SN Confinement Ladies Service. They can promise you 100 and one thing before you sign up..but after you have paid everything...things change..Food was really bad and not fresh...inadequate supply of food...the workers has to cook whatever they have in the fridge..The boss has not been buying fresh food for almost a week!!!But i have to give credit to a few nanny who help to take care of the new born..They are really experience and patient..The BOSS is really an irresponsible person! SO be cautious when sign in. I read a few good comments from the net before we sign up..but things are not as good as previous! GOOD LUCK Ladies!
